How Long Does a Lap Dance Last in Las Vegas? (Prices, Tips & What to Expect)

A lap dance - called a table dance at AIRSTRIP - lasts one song, typically 3-5 minutes. The price is $20+ per song, with each entertainer setting their own rate. You pay before the dance starts, not after.

If you want more than one song, you agree to additional songs at the same rate before continuing. There is no automatic extension - each song is a separate, agreed transaction.

Read on for the full breakdown of how table dances work, how they differ from private room dances, and what to expect at AIRSTRIP.

How Long Is a Lap Dance at a Las Vegas Strip Club?

A standard lap dance - or table dance - lasts one song. In practice, that means 3-5 minutes depending on the track. There is no standard song length in a gentlemen's club, but most music sets are in the 3-4 minute range.

The song-based structure is deliberate. It gives both the guest and the entertainer a clear, agreed timeframe. When the song ends, the dance ends. If you both agree to continue, a new song begins at the same rate - but that agreement happens between songs, not mid-dance.

Why per song and not per minute? The per-song structure is standard across Las Vegas strip clubs because it is simple and unambiguous. There is no stopwatch, no dispute about whether 4 minutes or 5 minutes elapsed. The song starts, the song ends - that is the unit.

Multiple songs. There is no rule against booking two, three, or more songs in a row with the same entertainer. Many guests do. The agreement to continue is made before each new song - not as a standing open-ended arrangement. This keeps costs clear and gives both parties control over the duration.

How Much Does a Lap Dance Cost in Las Vegas?

At AIRSTRIP, table dance prices start at $20+ per song. Each entertainer sets their own rate - the club sets the floor, the entertainer sets the actual price. Rates typically run 20-40 per song depending on the entertainer.

The rate is agreed before the dance. If an entertainer approaches and you want a dance, ask the price before you say yes. This is not awkward - it is standard practice at every Las Vegas strip club. The entertainer will tell you their rate, you decide whether to proceed, and then the dance begins. There are no surprises at the end.

What about multiple songs? Each song is priced at the same rate as the first. If the entertainer charges $30 per song and you do three songs, that is $90 total - agreed one song at a time.

Private room dances are different. Once you move into a VIP room, the pricing structure changes entirely. See the comparison section below.

Table Dance vs Private Room Dance - What's the Difference?

These are two distinct experiences and it is worth understanding the difference before you decide which you want.

When to choose a table dance: You want a one-on-one experience without leaving the main floor energy. It is the lower-commitment, lower-cost option and the natural starting point on a first visit.

When to choose a private room: You want full privacy, a longer dedicated session, or you are celebrating something specific - an anniversary, a birthday, a bachelor party upgrade. The 3-song room (50roomfee)istheentrypoint;the15-minuteroom(75) is the most popular step up.

How to Request a Dance at AIRSTRIP

There is no complicated process. Here is how it works in practice.

Wait for an entertainer to approach - or ask your host to introduce you to one. Both are completely normal. Entertainers move through the main floor between stage sets and may approach your table directly. If no one has approached and you would like a dance, a word to your host is all it takes.

Ask the price before agreeing. Once an entertainer is at your table, you can ask what they charge for a song. They will give you their rate. If it works for you, say yes. If not, you can politely decline - no pressure, no awkwardness.

The dance happens at your booth. You stay seated. The entertainer performs for the duration of the song. When the song ends, you pay the agreed rate.

To continue, agree before the next song starts. If you want another song, say so before the next track begins. If you are done, that is it - no obligation to continue.

For a private room instead. Tell your host you would like to book a private room session. They will walk you through the tiers and connect you with an entertainer. See: Strip Club VIP & Private Rooms Las Vegas.

Lap Dance Etiquette

A few rules that make the experience better for everyone.

Agree the price first, every time. Do not assume the rate is the same as the last entertainer. Each sets their own price. Ask, agree, then proceed.

Keep your hands in your lap or at your sides. Guests may not touch entertainers' private areas, including breasts. No simulation of sex is permitted. These rules apply on the main floor and in every VIP room. Full legal breakdown: Are Lap Dances Legal in Las Vegas?.

Pay at the end of the song, not mid-dance. The agreed rate is paid when the song finishes. Have the correct cash ready - fumbling for change mid-conversation is awkward for everyone.

No phones during a dance. Photography and video recording of performers is prohibited at AIRSTRIP and at virtually every Las Vegas gentlemen's club. Keep your phone away during any dance or performance.

A no is a no. If an entertainer declines your request, accept it graciously. Entertainers have full right of refusal at all times and that right is enforced by AIRSTRIP's staff.

Tip well for a great experience. The agreed rate is the floor, not the ceiling. If the dance was excellent, adding something on top is appreciated - though never expected or required.
