Who each club is actually for

Sapphire is for the mega-party.

At roughly 71,000 square feet with 400-plusentertainers a night, three main stages and ten skyboxes, it is the arenaoption. If you have 20 people and want noise, scale and a bachelor party thatfeels like an event, this is the room. It also runs a pool and dayclub nextdoor, which no one else on this list offers.

Spearmint Rhino is for the clock.

It is open 24 hours a day, every day, at 3340South Highland Drive, about a mile off the Strip. If your night starts at 4 AMafter a fight or a concert, this is often the only answer. It is also a25-year-old brand, which matters to people who want something familiar.

Treasures is for dinner first.

Two floors, a connected steakhouse with an AAAFour Diamond rating, and an evening you can start at 7 PM with a steak andfinish downstairs. If your group wants one venue for the whole night, it is thestrongest format in the city.

AIRSTRIP is for the planned, smaller night.

Paradise Road, across from Virgin Hotel, abouttwo miles from Harry Reid International. Ten packages starting at $50. Everypackage includes entry and pickup within 15 miles, subject to confirmation. Itis a newer, more boutique floor rather than an arena.

Where AIRSTRIP wins

Lowest entry tier.

The Oneway Runway is $50 per guest and comes with $65 in drinkcredit. You are ahead before you order. At clubs charging a $50 cover, you havespent the same amount and still have an empty table.

Closest to the airport.

At 4416 Paradise Road, AIRSTRIP is roughly twomiles from the terminal. For an arrival night, or a last stop before an earlyflight, that gap against a five-mile drive is real.

Low-pressure floor.

This is the complaint that shows up most inreviews of the big rooms: aggressive upselling. A smaller venue with pre-bookedtables has less reason to work you at the door.

Couples-friendly by design.

AIRSTRIP publishes dedicated couples packages, from the $150 Couples Duo to the $1,350 First Class Cabin. Mostclubs allow couples. Fewer design for them.

Entry included with transportation.

Book a package, get a ride within 15 miles andskip the cover. Confirm your address and arrival time when booking.

Where AIRSTRIP is not the fit

Be clear about this, because the wrong fitruins a night.

Groups of 20 or more who want arena scale.

The biggest AIRSTRIP booth seats up to 10. Aparty of 24 that wants the spectacle of a 70,000 square foot room should bookSapphire.

Anyone arriving before 8 PM or after 5 AM.

AIRSTRIP opens at 8 PM nightly and closes at 5AM on weekdays, 6 AM on weekends. Spearmint Rhino is the 24-hour option.

Groups who want a sit-down steak dinner in thesame building.

AIRSTRIP has a kitchen menu, not a steakhouse.Treasures owns that format.

Daytime plans.

Sapphire has the pool and dayclub. No one elsedoes.

What a night actually costs: 4, 6 and 10 guests

These use AIRSTRIP's published package prices. They exclude dances, tips, taxes and extra bottles.

Four guests.

The Standby Bottle is $99 and covers 4 to 6 guests with a table, pickup and aclub-choice bottle. That is $24.75 per head, entry included. Walking into a$50-cover club with the same four people costs $200 before the first drinkarrives.

Six guests.

Same $99 package, now $16.50 per head. Sixpeople at a $40 cover elsewhere is $240 at the door.

Ten guests.

The Skyline Booth is $699 for the largest booth in the roomwith bottle service, which works out to $69.90 per person including entry. Tencovers at $50 is $500 just to get through the door, with no table and nobottle.

The pattern holds at every size. Where yousave is cover and transportation, not drinks. Drinks cost what drinks cost inLas Vegas.
